Core Mission
The (Senior) Medical Affairs Manager serves as a people manager, leading a team consists of Medical Advisors, ensure the team to deliver professional trainings on a high standard quality and timely response to any medical enquiry from external or internal parties. Meanwhile, being a key project leader, to be directly or indirectly in charge of crucial medical projects includes but not limited to national scientific meetings, symposiums, workshops, as well as post-market clinical studies, Pharmacovigilance, global medical projects.
Requirement
Education/Training:
• Master of clinical medicine, pharmaceutical or biotechnology as minimum;
Work Experience:
• At least 5 year experience in pharmaceutical medical affairs, especially like MSL, Medical advisor, Medical physician, CRA, etc.
• Plus at least 1 year experience as team leader in pharmaceutical medical affairs;
Required pre-requisites skills/experience for this position :
• Experience within a corporate setting and understanding of relationship between marketing/brand teams and medical/regulatory affairs teams is preferred
• Ability to function in a team-oriented (matrix) environment
• Ability to think strategically to guide publication-related activities in accordance with industry standards and good publication practices
• Good communication skills, good English, both oral and writing
• Strong analytical and organization skills
• Ideal experience in KOL management, medical project, scientific meetings
• Profound knowledge in dermatology, (Plastic) surgeon, clinical studies method
• Demonstrable the ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a high-pressure, constantly changing environment
• Ability to develop good relationships and credibility with medical professionals
• Travel Frequency：> 30%
Duties and Responsibilities
Main Duties:
• Collaborates with Medical Manager to provide day-to-day guidance for Medical Advisors to execute medical strategy and tactics with appropriate use of resources;
• Participates in appropriate cross-functional and cross-company projects (e.g., clinical trial development, scientific congress/conference planning, advisory boards, publication planning and review, Medical Advisor field force support, medical information standard response letters review, gap analyses, etc.)
• Coordinates, manages and presents medical and scientific content for given medical area including medical and strategic review of all deliverables produced by vendor agencies if necessary
• Drive strategic publication/communication plan execution in medical advisor team and stays up-to-date on new data and developments in given medical area;
• Identifies, develops, and maintains relationships with clinical and scientific influencers to learn of customer needs, scientific gaps, opportunities for medical education, clinical trials, business development, etc.
• Trains external clinical and scientific influencers on content for medical education and promotional events; participates in speaker training programs and work with HCP speakers during the development of content for learning programs;
• Serves as clinical consultant providing clinical, technical and product knowledge assistance to existing and potential customers; build and maintain solid customer relationships and provide customer training at all levels
• Ensures the integrity of scientific data used in all promotional claims and materials
• Oversee the standardization of medical events planning and processes for Medical Advisors team.
• Provides onboarding and training to medical advisors and other colleagues, as appropriate;
• Ensure optimal collaboration across the assigned Medical team with internal customers, partners and other stakeholders.
• Understanding and acting in line with Galderma legal, regulatory and company standards and codes of practice;
• Inform Local Safety Responsible of safety issues according to Galderma safety SOPs; and provide scientific support and follow-up on product safety issues;
• Other duties as assigned by management
