Position: Dental Assistant Trainee
Location: Mülheim an der Ruhr, Deutschland
Job Type: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Company Overview: Orthodontic Clinic Dr. Christiane Schneider is a reputable dental practice dedicated to providing high-quality oral healthcare services. We provide our patients with removable and fixed braces as well as aligners to make their smiles more beautiful and confident. We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Dental Assistant Trainee. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in dental healthcare to receive hands-on training and valuable experience.
Responsibilities:
• Assist dental professionals during patient examinations and treatments
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take dental X-rays and 3D-scans
• Provide chairside assistance to orthodontists
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
• Manage patient records and update information in the electronic health record system
• Schedule appointments and handle administrative tasks as needed
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• German language skills grade B1
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to work well in a team
• Interest in the field of dental healthcare
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
• Basic computer skills
Training and Development: The selected candidate will receive comprehensive on-the-job training in various aspects of dental assisting. This apprenticeship program is designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the field of dental healthcare. Additionally, opportunities for further professional development and career advancement within the practice may be available upon successful completion of the training period.
