Design and develop in vitro cellular assays to mimic intra- and intercellular biological signatures derived from patient omics data; these assays should be robust and suitable in screening therapeutic molecules for particular targets.
Design and develop ex vivo assays that optimally maintain the tissuelevel disease microenvironment in patients; Determine gene expression, protein localization and protein-protein interactions for the targets of interest.
Apply these assays to screen for functional therapeutic molecules and to validate novel targets for immunology and inflammation diseases.
Take learnings from these biological assay studies to formulate new disease biology insights and help refine target intervention strategy and even target selection.
Collaborate with Modality Discovery group and Business Development team to evaluate internal and external therapeutic molecules.
Leverage CROs, collaborators and other external resources to strengthen the capability of Immunology platform.
Have the opportunity to lead drug projects from discovery phase all the way to clinical trials.
Have the opportunity to lead internal technology/platform development and external collaboration projects.
